Obambi -- Con Artist

OK, so here's the original quote from 2002 by Obambi, the lying Barry O, on which his recent statement about an uncle who fought in WWII in a speech is based. This apparently is a candidate who can say whatever he wants & no one has the right to fact-check, who declares unilaterally what's out-of-bounds for his detractors, what's permissible, what's allowed as poetic license.

Oct 2002: "My grandfather signed up for a war the day after Pearl Harbor was bombed, fought in Patton's army. He saw the dead and dying across the fields of Europe; he heard the stories of fellow troops who first entered Auschwitz and Treblinka. He fought in the name of a larger freedom, part of that arsenal of democracy that triumphed over evil, and he did not fight in vain. I don't oppose all wars."

Take that apart.

"signed up for a war the day after Pearl Harbor was bombed" -- lie, he signed up late in 1942 ...

"fought in Patton's army" -- lie, he fought in the US Navy.

"He saw dead and dying across the fields of Europe" -- lie, the soldier in question was in the Pacific.

"He heard the stories of fellow troops who first entered Auschwitz and Treblinka" -- lie, any fellow troops in Auschwitz and Treblinka were Russian.

Does Barry O ever speak the simple truth? Can he?
